Kenenisa Bekele World 10,000m Champion 2009

What an amazing race this morning! Zersenay Tadese
did everything he could do burn the finish out of Kenenisa Bekele but the Master was just too good. What was that last lap?
The Americans Ritzenheim and Rupp ran really really well, new USA Record for Reitenheim in 27m22.28.
A sobering thought about the progress and dominance of African running, when I was growing up Dave Bedford held the World Record in 27m30, today that time wouldn't have got him into the first 7 of a championship race where the early pace was pedestrian!

G'Day Rui!
Yes a real good old fashioned "race".
Thanks very much for your comments.
Your English is far better than my
Portuguese !
You would have been proud of your Marathon Men at the Worlds today.
Tenha um bom/belo dia/Fique bem/Passar bem!
